When MRCE staff visited Safe Haven Drop In Center in Midland earlier this week, we were impressed by the many recovery posters and art work created by consumers and displayed throughout the building. Many of the posters reflected information learned and studied during past peer specialist trainnings. It was a refreshing reminder of peer support and the creative spirit of people in recovery. Posters were simple, yet beautiful and caught your eye as soon as you enterred the building. Members seemed pleased that their work was recognized by visitors to the center.
