The national
Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance website primarily has information about mood disorders. The main focus of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) is Depression and Bipolar Disorder. In the past Bipolar Disorder was called Manic Depression or Manic Depressive Disorder. On the DBSA website there is an information page with clickable links to screening tools. These tools can help you determine if you are coping with either disease or not. The DBSA also has information packets that they send out.
DBSA is also concerned with anxiety, as it often is a co-occurring diagnosis with both depression and Bipolar Disorder. There is information about anxiety on the DBSA website. This is a quote from the web page about anxiety: “Anxiety can begin early in life for people with depression or bipolar disorder. Anxiety and mood disorders can be co-occurring diagnoses.”
The DBSA website has an online recovery center. You must open an online account for parts of it.
