The
brochure and registration form for the
Michigan Peer Support Specialist 3rd Annual Conference was released on August 26th. This year's conference,
Supporting the Whole Person: Peer to Peer, promises to be every bit as exciting as previous years.
The conference will be held October 3rd through the 5th at the Causeway Bay Hotel at 6820 S. Cedar, Lansing, MI 48911. Featured speakers include Megan Cahey from Cascadia Behavioral Health Care in Oregon, Maureen Feeny-Byrnes from Montgomery County Pennsylvania, and Ruta Mazelis from the Sidran Traumatic Stress Institute. Pre-conference seminars will begin at 9 am Monday, October 3rd and the conference will continue through 3 pm Wednesday, October 5th.
