Kandu Drop-In member, Anthony, participates in a lot of things in the drop-in center, but his favorite activity is sewing. He has been sewing for a while, and he was inspired to do to a special project for the members when they all went bike riding and everything they took along with them had gotten very wet.
Anthony decided to make bike covers for the bikes. He starts with a piece of waterproof tarp, and when he is finished the outcomes are awesome. He makes covers for baskets, trailers, and two-seaters connected to the bikes in all different colors.
Anthony says that making covers helps him to relax and use his mind to create new things while doing something he loves. He also enjoys doing things for his peers.
