SAMHSA's Resource Center to Promote Acceptance, Dignity and Social Inclusion Associated with Mental Health (ADS Center) conducts free trainings each year "to increase understanding of mental health and counter misconceptions and negative attitudes toward persons with mental illness."  The Campaign for Mental Health Recovery (CMHR) is now entering a second phase, focusing its efforts on reaching specific multicultural groups, including Hispanic American, African American, Chinese American and Native American populations.

The content for this article was taken from the CMHS Consumer Affairs E-News, December 10, 2008.  Additional information about the second phase of the CMHR is available from SAMHSA in the form of a webcast.
